One gent, Mark Bowden, who found us early last year, is a well regarded keynote speaker, and damn if he doesn't know a hell of a lot about body language in person and on camera. Our clients tend to be professionals - pro speakers, executive coaches, enterprise sales people, large enterprises, hospitals, PlexiCam is even becoming standard equipment for large hospital systems, financial services companies, and interestingly, a number of current or ex-Cirque du Soleil performers (sorry, I geek out on Cirque, dying to see another performance in-person someday soon). If you look at the gallery of photos from clients that we have > (I'm realizing now we need to upload more) ) The best camera Logitech currently makes is the Brio (which has 4-5 different model names/numbers for some reason, but they're all the same). No problems using most Logitechs with PlexiCam aside from the few cameras they've made without a tripod mount. U/Kosofkors - the Logitech C920s is very similar to the Logitech you see on most of our ads. I'm going to go long on this comment, to cover the wide variety of questions in the thread. Hi all - I'm one of the co-founders of PlexiCam. Any thoughts? Experiences? Recommendations? Thank you! I'm hoping for something that's got the quality and sound of the Logitech but that will keep my eyes focused on the camera while looking at the center of the screen. There aren't a ton of reviews on either Center Cam or Plexicam. I'd be open to a different solution if you know of one! The Logitech is a bit wide, so I'm wondering if it will cover too much of the screen real estate. It's basically clear material that holds a camera in place at the center of the monitor.

Plexicam was something I found on Google. The demos look okay, but it's a new product and double the price of the Logitech - without the ability to return. I think I'd make a better presentation by looking directly at the person.Ĭenter Cam is something I saw being sold on Indiegogo. I just got a Logitech C920s, but because of the position of the camera on top of my monitor, my calls show me looking away from the person to whom I'm speaking.
